Art Wolfe

Art Wolfe was an American photographer  who was born in 1951. He was a popular nature photographer and television presenter. Wolfes vividly-colored images of wildlife, beautiful landscapes, indigenous cultures and diversity of the natural world are celebrated by the entire world. Art Wolfe has released 65 books and instructional videos of different photographic techniques. The U.S postal service has used Wolfe’s photos on two stamps. He has won the Photographer of the Year award and a few other prestigious awards.

Garry Winogrand

Garry Winogrand was born in the year 1928 and was an American street photographer. His pictures of urban life are complex, sometimes humorous and often profound. Winogrand worked as a freelance photojournalist and advertising photographer in the 1950s and 1960s. He freelanced with the PIX Publishing agency in Manhattan at Brackman Associates.  Garry has done many solo and group exhibitions at various places across the world. His work is held in the George Eastman Museum, Rochester, NY, Museum of Modern Art, New York, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

Mario Testino

Mario Testino was one of the most famous photographer’s in the world. He was born in 1954.  Mario is a Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer who is particularly celebrated for his glamorous fashion photography of women. He has advertised campaigns for luxury brands like Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. Mario Testino has also documented various subjects from stars, musicians, supermodels and artists. Some of his clients are Allure, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli etc. He has won many prestigious awards and his work has been published in many magazines.

Alfred Stieglitz

Stieglitz was an  American photographer and modern art promoter who was born in the year 1864. He was groundbreaking photographer and has tirelessly promoted others’ work.  Alfred has played a vital role in the development and acceptance of photography as a serious art form. He was known for the New York Art Galleries that were extremely famous during the 20th century. He got married to a painter O’Keeffe and later, both of them hosted exhibitions together.

Edward Steichen

Edward Steichen was a Luxembourgish American photographer, painter, art gallery  and museum curator who was born in the year 1879 in Luxembourg. Initially, he worked as an important pictorialist photographer. Later, Steichen adopted the ‘straight’ form of photography. Steichen also pursued fashion photography and reached heights in the same field. He was an important museum and fashion curator.

Eugene Smith

Eugene Smith was an American photojournalist, born in the year 1918 in the Kansas city. He photographed combat in World War II. He did his specialization in the photo-essay, most of which was during his three-year Pittsburgh project. His photos have been published as cover pages of several magazines and photo-essays.
